About

David Kalkbrenner is a Freelance Graphic/Visual Designer based in San Francisco, California for the past 12+ years. ​ David's first accounts of graphic design were early in High School. His parents were cool with the concept of self expression through drawing band logos all over his bedroom walls in permanent markers.​ Unsure of whether he wanted to pursue music or become a school teacher, David realized design needed to be a part of his future and set out for San Francisco to pursue his career. In the past 7+ years David has worked with/at startups, small design studios, small businesses and fortune 500 companies independently and in a collaborative effort to deliver creative design solutions.   ​ In his free time David enjoys listening to music, brewing the perfect cup of pour over coffee, watching the Warriors & Giants and finding new recipes to try out.
